The Inaugural Hampton Soul Fest
The Hampton Soul Fest will occur on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. - to 6:00 p.m. at the East Hampton Community Park. The Hampton Soul Fest offers a full day of family fun and an unforgettable celebration of music, art, culture, and a public display of love for our community. We proudly present the Hampton Soul Fest as a shining example of what Electric Church and The HIP Team can bring to Hampton’s evolving cultural scene.
V.O.F.C. is already in progress, as we are supporting our young adult production team in producing industry-standard stages with complete entertainment packages. The Inaugural Hampton Soul Fest is a live exercise of production development, preparing our nonprofit and our student participants for the Historical Oratorical stage. We proudly present the Hampton Soul Fest as a shining example of what Electric Church and The HIP Team can bring to Hampton’s evolving cultural scene.
October 21st will also mark our first day of filming. The footage gathered here will be used for a trailer.
Your participation in the Hampton Soul Fest will directly benefit the Voices of Foster Care Historical Oratorical and Documentary. Learn more about this oratory exhibition and coming-of-age narrative, as told by 6 former foster children who have recently aged out of the system, at VoicesofFosterCare.com.
Vendors are welcome to come together with our mutual creative neighbors in sharing. Bring your homemade canes, crafts, and collectibles. Show off your visual art, handmade jewelry, hand-rolled incense, or essential oils. Hampton residents with green thumbs and growing hands can bring floral arrangements, plants, homegrown fruit, and vegetables.
Arrive on time at 11 am with your children so they can play on the newly renovated playground at East Hampton Community Park, where we will offer face painting, a magic show, and free haircuts for children under 13 until 3 p.m.
Register for the raffle by noon to win great prizes from our sponsors. Did we mention a self-healing tent? Yes, it is a tech-free zone where you can unpack stress and reset with Yoga, Ti Chi, and Qi Gong. Some Random Acts of Healing will be happening at Ami’s Body Café. Step into the Card Player’s Lounge for a game of Bid Whist, Tonk, or Spades.
Hampton Soul Fest is a great place for fellow nonprofit organizations and local businesses to connect with The HIP Team. We are community servants, educators, and students of Electric Church and your new neighbor! Be sure to stop by our HIP table at the Information Station to learn more about our customizable entertainment packages and curriculums.
The HIP Team offers professional development services through Holter Intellectual Property, Inc. and our supporting members. Our curriculums combine artistic and professional development elements with contemporary critical frameworks in cultural discourse to create cohesive music, theater, public speaking, and theatrical entertainment projects with community benefits. We proudly present the Hampton Soul Fest as a shining example of what Electric Church and The HIP Team can bring to Hampton’s evolving cultural scene. Find out how we can work together at HIPINC.ORG.
