The Inaugural Hampton Soul Fest

Saturday, October 21st

The Inaugural Hampton Soul Fest will occur on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the East Hampton Community Park, where we are enjoying a full day of music and family fun. Complete with a live band and performances by emerging and classically trained performers, Hampton Soul Fest promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music, art, culture, and love for our community.

We are also celebrating the grand opening of East Hampton Community Park and recognizing Mayor Tarpley for giving young this great opportunity to show off their amazing talents as they co-create this fundraiser for Voices of Foster Care’s Where the Rainbow Hides: A Homestead Act.

The Hampton Soul Fest Lineup is composed of three acts that will take you on a musical journey from original compositions by local students to the timeless sounds of great composers on a stage provided by Shock & Awe and produced by The HIP Team and members of our Young Adult Production Training Program.

Saturday, October 21, 2023 will also mark our first day of filming content for our Voices of Foster Care Wellness Program and Documentary Series. A big film component is demonstrating our aptitude to teach, collaborate, create, and deliver industry-level products and productions. Yes sir, yes Ma’am we are coming together to co-create a magical day.

Hampton Soul Fest is a great place for fellow nonprofit organizations and local businesses to connect with The HIP Team. We are community servants, educators, and students of Electric Church and your new neighbor! Be sure to stop by our HIP table at the Information Station to learn more about our customizable entertainment packages and curriculums.

About our Nonprofit Organization: The HIP Team offers professional development services through Holter Intellectual Property, Inc. and our supporting members. Our curriculums combine artistic and professional development elements with contemporary critical frameworks in cultural discourse to create cohesive music, theater, public speaking, and theatrical entertainment projects with community benefits. We proudly present the Hampton Soul Fest as a shining example of what Electric Church and The HIP Team can bring to Hampton’s evolving cultural scene.
